Can I send and receive messages in Chinese characters to/from China from my Japanese phone?
As a general rule, MARITEX only support Japanese and English characters. But if the mobile phones support the Unicode standard, communication in chinese is possible.

Messages to China (except Taiwan): Note that due to restrictions by the chinese network, there will be cases where the sender number (your number) will be shown as an arbitary number set by the network.
